We change the way you shop for glasses
Because you deserve better than the same old optical store experience
The True Vision Story
True Vision was born out of Kim's passion to keep doing what she loves most, helping people see clearly and feel confident in their eyewear.
After decades in the optical industry, Kim wasn't ready to retire. She loved being an active part of the communities around her, and she saw something missing in the industry: a way for people to get fashionable, functional eyewear at affordable prices without the overwhelm of traditional optical stores.
So she created True Vision Mobile, bringing the boutique eyewear experience directly to you.
No more crowded stores. No more pressure. No more settling for "good enough."
Just personalized service, honest guidance, and glasses that make you feel amazing—all in the comfort of your own home.
What Drives True Vision
Honesty
Kim will tell you the truth, even if it means recommending less expensive frames or suggesting you wait if nothing feels quite right.
Trust
Your confidence matters more than any sale. Kim has spent 40+ years earning trust in this industry, and she protects it fiercely.
Reliability
When Kim says she'll be there, she's there. When she promises follow-up care, she delivers. No exceptions.
Community
Kim shows up for the communities that surround her, literally bringing care directly to your door.
Meet Kim McEachern
Your Licensed Optician
Kim has been an active member of the optical industry since 1979, and she hasn't looked back since.
When licensing came into effect in the optical industry in 1996, Kim ensured she followed all necessary steps and guidelines to obtain her license. She's maintained it with pride ever since, staying current with every requirement and continuing education opportunity.
A little bit about me
Licensed Optician since 1996, active in the industry since 1979, and absolutely in love with this career.
I've been fortunate enough to experience this industry from every angle:
Owned my own brick-and-mortar location (so I understand both sides of the counter)
Worked with Optometry and Ophthalmology practices
Served as an educator in the field
Volunteered with the Opticians Association of Canada - BC Chapter
Spent six years as Finance Officer for the College of Opticians of BC board
One of my favorite roles? Traveling around British Columbia, setting up vision screening events, and educating communities about eye health and care. That hands-on, person-to-person connection? That's what lights me up.
In fact, I received the College of Opticians of BC Excellence in Opticianry Award in the Community Service Category for exactly that kind of work.
Why am I telling you all this?
Because when you invite me into your home, you're getting someone who:
I've also contributed to initiatives that enhance Indigenous Anti-Racism, Cultural Safety & Humility in opticianry throughout British Columbia, because everyone deserves respectful, accessible care.
We focus on eye health and fashion.
Here's my promise to you:
If for ANY reason you're not completely happy with your purchase, you have a one-time non-adapt warranty within three months of your purchase.
What does this mean in plain English?
Sometimes our eyes need time to adjust to new lenses, or maybe the frames don't feel quite right after wearing them for a few weeks. That's totally normal, and totally covered.
Within your first three months, if something's not working, we'll make it right. Period.
This isn't fine print that benefits me, it's peace of mind that benefits YOU.
Direct Billing
We can direct bill most health insurance providers!
